Architectural Photography Milford Lodge
This one was always going to be tricky, mostly because it rains over 260 days in Milford and its up there with the Amazons in total rainfall per year! The job was booked in on a set dat with a back up day as they needed to have all accommodation empty and available.
I flew in from Wanaka and it was a stunning day with blue skies for the two days i spent there.
The shoot was done with minimal gear as i had to fly in a small Cessna plane. I shot it in daylight and dusk. The main night shot of the cottages won an Commercial photography award in The IRIS Awards.
